Scope:
Deals with measurement of internal and external water supply, plumbing, and drainage works.

Unit of Measurement:

• Metres (m) → pipes, fittings.
• Number (No.) → valves, taps, sanitary fixtures.
• m³ → manholes, chambers.

Classification:

• By pipe material: GI, CI, RCC, stoneware, PVC, HDPE.
• By diameter and class.
• By fixture type: taps, mixers, valves, closets, washbasins, sinks, urinals.

Special Notes:

• Excavation for pipelines measured separately under earthwork.
• Fittings (tees, bends, reducers) measured in number, not in running length.
• Testing, jointing, fixing → included in rates.
