Covers measurement of piling works, including driven piles, bored piles, cast-in-situ piles, under-reamed piles, and pile caps.
Unit of Measurement:
- Running metre (RM) → for piles (measured along length).
- Number (No.) → for under-ream bulbs, pile heads.
- Cubic metre (m³) → for pile caps, tremie concreting.
Classification:
- By type of pile: driven, bored, cast-in-situ, precast, under-reamed.
- By material: RCC, steel, timber.
- By diameter/size of pile.
Special Notes:
- Pile length measured from cut-off level to founding strata.
- Extra for under-ream bulbs measured per bulb.
- Testing (load test, integrity test) measured separately.
- Temporary casings, liners, bentonite slurry considered in rates.
