Scope:
Covers miscellaneous building works not covered in earlier parts (fencing, plaster board partitions, false ceilings, corrugated sheets, etc.).
Unit of Measurement:
- m² → for false ceiling, partition panels.
- Running metre → for fencing, barbed wire, boundary works.
- Number (No.) → for certain fittings, fixtures.
Classification:
- By material:
- Partition work: gypsum board, cement board, wood, aluminium, glass.
- Ceiling work: POP, gypsum, mineral fibre board, grid ceiling.
- Roofing: AC sheets, GI sheets, corrugated sheets.
- By thickness/type of material.
Special Notes:
- Measurement taken in true area of work done.
- Openings >0.5 m² deducted.
- Minor holes ≤0.5 m² ignored.
Rates to include framing, fixing, supports, scaffolding.
