Unit of Measurement:
- Running metre → for pipes (with fittings).
- Number (No.) → for sanitary fittings (wash basins, WCs, urinals, taps, valves).
- m² → for certain drainage works.
- m³ → for septic tanks, manholes.
Classification:
- By pipe material: GI, CI, DI, PVC, HDPE, copper.
- By pipe size/diameter.
- By fittings/accessories: bends, tees, reducers, traps, valves.
- By fixtures: wash basins, sinks, closets, flushing cisterns, urinals, bidets.
Special Notes:
- Pipe length measured centre-to-centre of joints.
- Excavation, backfilling for underground pipes measured separately.
- Insulation/lagging measured separately.
Testing, jointing, scaffolding included in rate.
